4L V-Belts feature a 1/2" top width — the same as A-section classical belts — making them interchangeable in many applications. 4L belts are one of the most commonly replaced belt sizes, found on HVAC systems, furnace blower motors, swamp coolers, washing machines, dryers, lawn mowers, and light industrial equipment.
4L part numbers use outside circumference in tenths of inches. Example: OC 59" = 4L590. While 4L and A-section belts fit the same sheaves, 4L is rated for lighter duty. For industrial applications above 1 HP, specify the A-section equivalent.
