AX Cogged V-Belts share the same 1/2" top width and 5/16" depth as standard A-section belts, but feature precision-molded cogs on the underside. These cogs allow the belt to flex more easily around smaller pulleys, dissipate heat better, and operate up to 30% more efficiently.
AX belts are a direct drop-in replacement for A-section — same sheaves, same dimensions, same part number (IC, subtract 2" from OC). Upgrading from A to AX is recommended for longer life and better performance, especially on drives with smaller pulleys.
