What Are Incline Roughtop Belts?
Incline roughtop conveyor belts feature a textured carrying surface that provides grip for material transport at incline angles typically up to 25-30 degrees. Roughtop surfaces are available in black SBR, tan pure gum, blue carboxylated nitrile (FDA), brown nitrile, brown butyl, neoprene, orange, and MOR (moderate oil resistant) rubber compounds on multi-ply polyester carcasses from 2 to 4 ply. PVC roughtop versions are also available. The roughtop texture pattern varies by specification — some provide aggressive grip for heavy aggregate while others offer gentler texturing for food products. Texas Belting stocks roughtop belts in multiple compounds and ply counts, custom cut to width and fabricated to length.
