What Are Skirtboard & Accessories?

Conveyor skirtboard is installed along the edges of conveyor loading zones to contain material and prevent spillage. Skirtboard seals against the moving belt surface, channeling bulk material onto the belt at transfer points, chutes, and hoppers. Texas Belting stocks skirtboard in three material options: black rubber (SBR) for general purpose applications with good abrasion resistance, orange polyurethane-rubber blend for enhanced wear life and visibility, and solid polyurethane for maximum abrasion resistance in heavy-duty applications. Snowplow blades are cut from durable rubber stock for road and commercial snow removal equipment. All skirtboard and blades are custom cut to length.
