Urethane Bandsaw Tires
Heavy-duty urethane replacement bandsaw tires for 9", 10", 12", and 14" bandsaws. Made in Texas from premium urethane that outlasts rubber, resists abrasion, and keeps your blade tracking true. Sold in sets of two. In stock and shipping same day from Houston, TX.
Why Urethane Bandsaw Tires?
Bandsaw tires are the cushion between your blade and the wheel. When they wear out, crack, or harden, the blade loses tracking, cuts wander, and vibration increases — leading to rough cuts, broken blades, and wasted material. Urethane is the superior replacement material: it lasts significantly longer than rubber, maintains consistent grip on the blade, resists heat buildup from friction, and won't crack or dry rot over time the way rubber tires do.
Texas Belting manufactures our urethane bandsaw tires in-house at our Houston facility. We control the urethane compound, the bonding process, and the quality of every tire that ships. Each set includes two tires (upper and lower wheels) — ready to install on your bandsaw.
Urethane vs Rubber Bandsaw Tires
Here's why shops switch from rubber to urethane and never go back.
Longer Lifespan
Urethane resists abrasion and wear far better than natural rubber. Tires last significantly longer before needing replacement — reducing downtime and the cost of frequent tire changes.
Better Blade Tracking
Urethane maintains consistent surface grip throughout its lifespan. The blade stays centered on the wheel, producing straighter cuts and less blade wander — especially important for precision woodworking and metalcutting.
Heat Resistant
Friction between the blade and tire generates heat during extended cuts. Urethane handles this heat without softening, deforming, or developing flat spots — a common failure mode for rubber tires.
No Cracking or Dry Rot
Rubber tires crack, harden, and dry rot over time — even sitting unused. Urethane stays flexible and resilient for years, whether your bandsaw runs daily or sits between projects.
Reduced Vibration
Urethane's consistent density and resilience dampen vibration better than worn rubber. Less vibration means smoother cuts, longer blade life, and quieter operation in your shop.
Made in Texas
Every tire is manufactured in-house at our Houston facility using premium urethane compound. We control quality from raw material to finished product — not a generic import.
